Marianne was born and raised in Brockton Massachusetts (south of Boston), where she began dancing at age 3. She went on to obtain her BA in Dance at Springfield College in MA and then received her M.Ed in Therapeutic Recreation also at Springfield College. She has worked as a Recreation/Dance Therapist in both community and medical settings, has taught dance and theater for over 17 years, owned her own studio and teaches in early childhood education. Marianne is a firm believer that dance heals the mind, body and soul and is honored to be able to instill a love and passion for dance to her young students that will help shape them into the beautiful person they are meant to be. Marianne currently works as a preschool teacher at My School Preschool in Greenwood Village and can’t wait to teach some of her former and current students (and of course meet some new friends) at Starstruck!
